« SILENZIOSA-MENTE wins first prize at SCRTCH! International Animation Film Festival for the high level of quality achieved in both graphic and animation; for the narrative structure that goes beyond the traditional and classic circuits that takes the viewer inside a surreal and dreamlike journey, reminding at times a modern « alice in wonderland », made up of visual metaphors with which the author deals with profound and important issues such as the complex relationship between individual, society, power and mass media, highlighting their ambiguity and contradictions. »

« A nice and very surreal animation about the individual’s relations and the constant media noise we are all exposed to. »
Lund Fantastisk Film Festival

« Revisitation of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Technique, poetry, fiction are skilfully dosed leaving the audience amazed and at the same time worried. »
Amarcort Film Festival

« Two shorts (Silenziosa-Mente & O.V.N.I.) being screened during the SFIndie Film Festival have been written and filmed in a manner that captures the wild fluidity and occasionally wacky humor that we find in our dreamscapes. Although each film is quite brief, it showcases a talented filmmaker with an exciting artistic vision which is bound to bear future fruit. Italian animator, Alessia Travaglini, manages to reference complex political challenges in her provocative new short entitled Silenziosa-Mente (Silent Mind). Although much of this film seems to have been done in shades of red, white, and black, it makes astonishing use of the kind of bizarre, nonsensical images which can pepper our dreams. Although Silent Mind is barely five minutes long, it packs quite a wallop. »
